At Bat Against the Grizzlies

Back to the "Real World"
Well my season with the Gateway Grizzlies has come to an end and boy what a summer it was. 84 games in less than 3 months with only 6 off days the whole summer. I know it's just baseball but man does my body ache. How lucky was I to be able play baseball all summer and get paid to do it. But now it's over and time to head back to the 'real world'. I wanted to check in with all of you and see if you had any leads on open positions in the St. Louis area. Anyway could you please keep you eyes open if you see any opportunities that look like they might interest me. Thanks sluggers. Take care, Mark

The Schulte crew enjoyed an evening at the ball park tonight. Shannon and Mark's alma mater was in town playing St. Louis University. They had a great time catching up with Coach V and company.
Flyer Baseball - Reunion Weekend - Oct. 12 & 13, 2007
What's up Flyers, I hear a lot of you are heading back for the Flyer Baseball reunion weekend. Regretfully I will not be able to attend. Actually Shannon the kids and I have a pretty nice little Saturday planned. We're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time. That's Flyer 9's life now boys... you guys have a great time this weekend. Send me some camera phone pix if you have a second. I hope to catch up with all of you in 2008. Go F L Y E R S!!! -Schulte
My former Grizzlie teammate, Scott Patterson makes it to the BIGS!!!
It was a journey that began in 2002 in the independent Frontier League, and it featured numerous stops and starts along the way. Jump >>
Good week
Looks like Chris Burke had a few knocks this week. Let's hope he keeps it up. On a side note, I was playing some ball in the backyard with my FIVE year old this weekend. He was playing 1st so I called him Albert Pujols. He said, no Dad, i'm Chris Burke! Guess its time to get him a CB poster for his wall. --- Mark Schulte, Jr. Sent from my BlackBerry Storm 9530
