Lucy's thoughts on her first day

Mom: "Lucy, how was our first day of school?"

Lucy: "Mrs O'Neil sprayed the table off. Mrs. Roubidoux (yes can you just imagine Lucy saying that huge name...it's pretty funny...anyway), Mrs. Roubidoux made me happy and rocked in the rocking chair."

Mom: "Were you crying?"

Lucy: "Yes, I got hurt on my knee. Mrs Roubidoux gave me a kiss and I felt happy."

Mom: "Did you play anything at school?

Lucy: "I play my friends. I climb real high on a mountain outside. It was fun."

Mom: "Did you do anything else fun at school today?"

Lucy: "I color markers and I ate all my goldfish. I put my bag on my heart spot. I carry my bag."

I guess that's a good day for a 2-year-old! When I went to pick her up she was listening so intently to a story her teacher was reading she didn't even notice I was there. She looked so happy! AND she did a great job using the potty! YEAAH LUCY!! What a big girl you are!
